yawn...

This pregnancy has had me in a state of hibernation this winter. It's interesting feeling like I've been stuck inside this cave-like atmosphere, looking out @ the world around me. It's giving me time to think, to ponder, & to take a sort of mental rest, you could say. But now, my hibernation is nearing its end... I feel my senses thawing out & my view is beginning to grow sunnier everyday. I've spent that time just observing & growing, quietly, just like my Amelie Sol has been, too, inside me. But, now the time is nearing where we both must come out of this privacy we've known as our own little world. With so much going on around us, each day bring us closer to this outside life, & its magnetic pull is calling both of us out in our own individual way...

Saturday night I began to wake up. It happened while my chino & I clicked through old images we'd taken this past year with my Canon rebel I purchased with nervousness as well as excitement. I remember he corrected me when I stated that the amount of money I paid for that camera was the largest I had "wasted" in a while. He looked at me & reminded me, "You didn't waste anything... you invested." Tenias razon, chino.

And up until Saturday night, I hadn't really thought my investment had been fully used to it's capacity, especially after looking at some of the blogs I've been eyeing these past few months. I kept thinking to myself, "I want to record time that way." All these months, all I had to do was take a couple of minutes at home & see that I was. While we sat in Chino's creative work space, we took a trip down memory lane & I realized that I have something so great right in front of me... my family life. How could I have let that slip my mind? I blame my hibernation. Lol.

But, now I feel my rebirth, along with Amelie's birth, which I anticipate with all that I am. That night, I went to bed with the awareness that I was waking up. It felt so good...

So, this brings me to now, this moment. I take my last yawn, my... last... good.... s-t-r-e-t-c-h...

Aaaah... why hello!
